  Gary Bolen 
Gary BolenGary excels in personal contact and service skills. Exceptionally patient and friendly, Gary is our people person with a smile, gentle manner and a kind word for everybody. Known for his empathy and consideration of others, you can count on Gary… and he will become your friend. He is exactly that character you want to represent your best interests. Among his experiences and accomplishments:

  • Long Term South Lake Tahoe resident
    Gary has lived off Kingsbury grade on the Nevada side of South Lake Tahoe for about 15 years.
  • World Traveled
    From a military family, Gary has lived in Japan, France, Iran and Germany. He speaks some Farsi, and understands a little French and some German.
  • Music Director
    Gary was the music director and guitarist for two extended shows at Harvey's Casino Resort for six years. His professional rock and roll and country music credits, both as a musician and song writer are numerous.
  • Business Owner
    Gary and his wife Janie created a successful entertainment industry catering company in Los Angeles.
  • Hobbies
    Gary likes to fish, play golf and cook, but music is his passion. That he carries into helping folks either buy or sell real estate here in his beloved South Lake Tahoe.

  Richard  Bolen 
Richard BolenRichard adds business depth and experience to the Bolen and Bolen real estate team. He created and was SR VP Marketing of a public company in Los Angeles in the '90's. Later Richard formed his own marketing, advertising and design firm in Los Angeles. Richard brings experience in the entertainment, health care, financial services, publishing, resort hotel, internet and cruise ship industries. He served clients in all of them. Richard and his wife Maxene own a home off Kingsbury Grade on the Nevada side of South Lake Tahoe. Among his career highlights:

  • SR VP Marketing
    Richard directed marketing for a NASDAQ company, two publishing firms and a cultural museum.
     
  • Advertising & Marketing Agency
    Richard directed and produced national advertising, public relations and trade show campaigns. He excelled in direct marketing, and in once case he doubled a company's national sales while cutting costs by 50% at the same time.
  • Graphic Designer
    Richard is an experienced grahic designer and copy writer. He has worked as a designer for companies such as Disney, Buena Vista, Paramount Pictures, Holland America Line and more.
  • Hobbies
    Richard's hobby is mostly work. Producing and writing this blog is his form of recreation. He has played golf, bowled more than he should as a teen and loves watching his wife's son play high school sports. Though not much of a hobby, Richard has produced music, managed performers and was one of three producers of " Rockers", a critically acclaimed motion picture that was shot in Jamaica that has since  been referred to as a cult classic.
