Unanimous vote also extends unemployment benefits.
WASHINGTON (MarketWatch) — The Senate voted overwhelmingly Wednesday night to approve legislation extending unemployment benefits and maintaining an $8,000 tax credit for first-time home buyers.
This can’t be anything but good news for first-time home buyers specifically, and the U.S. housing market in general.
This also extends the current, and rather unprecedented opportunity for first-time buyers to own a home in South Lake Tahoe. (We like that, a lot!)
