South Lake Tahoe Business Spotlight: Off The Hook Sushi

Savor Some Sushi In South Lake Tahoe

Sushi has been a major presence in California restaurants for oh, over 20 years now, and we're happy to report that the trend is still alive and kicking (swimming?) here at South Lake Tahoe.

One of our favorite sushi restaurants is Off The Hook, located right in the middle of town.

While we can't help but be thrilled by their Happy Hour Specials (4:30-6:00 Monday thru Friday), we have to admit, we'd go there ANY time!

Not in any sense your "traditional" sushi restaurant, this locally owned establishment specializes in unique and innovative combinations of ingredients. Their creativity pays off in some of the most delicious repasts ever!

We like to go with several friends – that way we get to try more Sushi Maki than we could on our own…….The Dragon Roll, Spider Roll, Rainbow Roll, Flying Tiger, Funky Medina, Gambler…….the choices dazzle!

Of course, sushi is not all they have to offer. Bento Box, anyone? Teriyaki? Don't eat fish or meat? No problem, there are vegan dishes (and rolls) too!

Service is great, decor is pleasant, airy, and inviting, the vibes here bring us back again and again. If you're casting your net out to find a great place for dinner, we recommend you give Off The Hook a try.
