South Lake Tahoe Business Spotlight: Tahoe Bowl

You Might Get A Strike But You'll Never Strike Out at Tahoe Bowl in South Lake Tahoe!

Ever wonder what you should do for fun when it's raining? We know, we know, at this time of year it never – never? – well, hardly ever – rains for a sustained period of time here on the South Shore, but sometimes we want to do something, well, different! Tahoe Bowl gives us that opportunity….become a kegler, anyone?

Kegler sounds like a tippler at a barbecue, but it means bowler! If you can "spare" a moment for us, we'll tell you all about this "striking" local business.

Tahoe Bowl opened its doors to the public for the very first time in August of 1959.  They are the only bowling center on the south shore, and we are so glad to have them!  Bowling is such a great way to have fun with companions of any age! They have league play for more serious bowlers, and great deals on "open bowling" for those of us who just want to have fun. It's just great entertainment, full stop.

Tahoe Bowl has a new air conditioning and heating system to keep guests and staff cool in the summer and warm in the winter. They offer 16 lanes of bowling on synthetic lanes, Brunswick Vector Computerized Scoring, bumpers for the children (and really unskilled adult bowlers like us), Lane 17 Sports Bar, Blue Dog Gourmet Pizza with its doggone crazy deals, an arcade for all and a pro shop.

Give 'em a visit – rediscover indoor sports!
