Farmers Bring Fresh Produce & More To South Lake Tahoe

We know that summer is here at South Lake Tahoe when the Farmers Market comes to town! Put on by the El Dorado County Certified Farmers Market Association, the farmers bring fresh vegetables and produce, bread, cheese, tamales, lavender, jams-jellies, salsa, fish, kettle corn, pottery, photography – and more.

Growers come to the CFMA markets from across California. Growers from the great central valley of California are regular participants and bring corn and melons and a variety of fruits and vegetables into the markets from early in the growing season through the end of summer.

We really enjoy visiting the farmers' market – there's always something there we never knew we needed or wanted until we saw it! Check it out, it's loads of fun!
