South Lake Tahoe Holiday Drunk Drivers Beware!
December 18th, 2009 categories: About Us, Lake Tahoe Real Estate, South Lake Tahoe, CA, Stateline, NV
South Lake Tahoe DUI patrols will increase during Holiday season.
Back when we were younger, we used to refer to "DUI" as "DWB"… driving while blind. We used to think that was funny. But we were wrong!
As a bona fide safety precaution, or a warning if you will, both California and Nevada law enforcement will crack down on drunken driving this holiday season.
Starting at 8 p.m. on Dec. 18, South Lake Tahoe Police will conduct DUI checkpoints throughout the area. These additional checkpoints are likely to continue intermittently through the holidays. In other words, you can’t predict them… and then try to figure out how to beat the system.
In other words, we want you to fully enjoy our wonderful South Lake Tahoe holiday season, but drive sober, and if you’re not, use a designated driver… or catch a cab. We want you here, safe, so you can come back and enjoy our resort and our lifestyle again.
